The ISCIII Global Health program is a cross-cutting activity aimed at promoting collaboration and coordinating the efforts of different ISCIII actors working within this area of expertise.

The Program at the ISCIII is oriented towards the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda and specifically Goal 17 " Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development " and Goal 3 (Target 3.3) "to end by 2030 the epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases and combat hepatitis, waterborne diseases and other communicable diseases". It is an interdepartmental Program that seeks to influence global public health from the perspective of scientific knowledge and its transfer, implementation and evaluation, as well as from training and institutional relations.
